Package Description

1. Use the templates as examples to learn tips and techniques that you can apply to creating your own TaskMaps.
   
2. Open and modify the sample maps as the starting point for creating your own TaskMaps, thereby taking advantage of the pre-populated shapes and drawing pages.

The templates in this package include the following.

1. The Proposal Process Template is a sales process example that includes hyperlinks to various document types, including links to specific locations inside selected documents. The process also includes several decision tasks that show how decisions are represented in TaskMap.
   
   
2. The Six Sigma Recruiting Process Template documents the Recruiting and Candidate Selection phases of a hiring process. It also includes a one-page map showing the continuous process improvement activity within the recruiting process.
   
   
3. The Strategy Planning Process Template shows highlights of an effective approach to analyzing requirements for new information technology (IT) systems. It also includes placeholder pages for the detailed definition of the three primary decision outcomes.
   
   
4. The Toilet Replacement Process Template is an instructional map of a physical process – that of replacing the toilet in a bathroom. The TaskMap shapes are supplemented with selected graphics and the two simple pages in this example replace more than 1200 words of text.
